Responsibilities
Design, write, and deliver software that improves Cloudflare's Internal and External platforms
Scale and evolve systems through software and automation to improve reliability and velocity
Work on highly distributed and scalable systems with a globally distributed team
Participate in the constant cycle of knowledge sharing and mentoring
Research and introduce cutting-edge technologies
Contribute to open-source
Qualification
Required
We want someone who understands and obsesses over front-end systems
Passion for improving developer experience and increasing development velocity
Multiple years of experience in frontend engineering, specializing in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
Strong knowledge of UI infrastructure, CI/CD, and testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress)
Proven ability to drive projects independently, from concept to implementation
Preferred
Expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern front-end systems
Experience with modern JavaScript bundling tools like Webpack or Vite
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Familiarity with backend software development in Go
Experience building and maintaining integration test suites with API mocks
Experience building and scaling large-scale web applications
