Education Coordinator

Community Storehouse is dedicated to serving children and families in Tarrant County, focusing on educational initiatives to uplift communities. The Education Coordinator will oversee and support the implementation of educational programs, including after-school tutoring and summer learning, while fostering partnerships within the community.

Non-profit Organization Management

Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise tutoring and academic support programs such as spring and summer camps across designated school districts (e.g., Keller ISD, Northwest ISD, Argyle ISD)
Recruit, train, and support volunteer tutors and mentors
Assess student academic needs and track progress using pre/post-assessments and reporting tools
Liaise with school staff, parents, and volunteers to ensure strong communication and partnership
Organize educational events, family engagement nights, and summer learning activities
Ensure program fidelity and compliance with any grant-related reporting or evaluation
Maintain accurate records and data for each student served
Assist in curriculum planning and enrichment activity development as needed
Work within a team setting to create a positive workplace environment
Be willing to assist outside of normal business hours for special events and activities
Schedule will be afternoon into early evenings Monday - Thursday, some Friday mornings during the school year
During Spring Break and Summer, hours will be modified

Required

Certified teacher, administrator, or school counselor (required)
Bachelor's degree in education or related field (required)
10+ years of experience in a school or academic setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for helping underserved students succeed
Familiarity with Texas school standards and student assessment tools
Ability to work flexible part-time hours, including occasional evenings
Must be able to lift 20lbs
Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
