New Grad, Entry LevelTri-State International Trucks is seeking a Parts Outside Sales Representative to engage with potential and existing customers, presenting the dealership as a partner in vehicle and equipment maintenance solutions. The role involves order management, customer visits, and sales analysis to meet established sales goals while ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
Enter new customer orders in the Business Management System on a daily basis
Generate necessary purchase order and submit to manager for approval
Check parts inventory for needed customer items in stock and initiate special order if necessary
Review Non-Stock Parts order requirements with Customers prior to order being placed
Visit assigned customers regularly
Prospect for new customers
Review open orders daily
Check-in and coordinate with the order desk/delivery drivers for any Customer special instructions (delivery window, contact, etc.)
Follow up on quotes to customers
Process customer returns and warranty claims according to written policies
Coordinate service sales with service department
Monitor customer buying patterns
Complete daily trip report with any important calls, emails or other noteworthy information on customers, competitors, manufacturers, etc
Update customer information as needed
Act as a public relations liaison for the dealership
Track sales history to determine if set goals will be met
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of heavy-duty truck/trailer maintenance/repair business including parts details
Ability to learn mechanical terminology
Hold a valid driver's license and have the ability to be insured by company insurance
Ability to successfully navigate the internet to access, research and retrieve information as necessary
Understand and abide by Trivista Companies, Inc. service objectives and apply those objectives in the performance of duties
Ability to perform all necessary functions within the Business Operating System used by the company
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing within the department and other areas of the Company as necessary
Ability to interpret and work from oral and written instructions
Ability to work with a variety of customers in a courteous and cooperative manner
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Ability to operate a forklift safely
Ability to operate all office equipment necessary to accomplish job duties such as computers, calculators, copiers, telephones, etc
Ability to legibly document data for record keeping purposes
Ability to remain calm and professional during peak periods of activity
Knowledge of organizational methods
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work daily as required
