Balyo is a company that designs and deploys advanced robotic lift trucks. They are seeking a customer-focused Forklift / Service Technician to provide after-sales support and maintenance of robotic lift trucks at customer sites, working closely with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and repairing robotic lift trucks, including lasers, sensors and communication equipment

Performing regular maintenance tasks (inspection, lubrication, cleaning, replacement of worn parts)

Documenting action plans, interventions and final resolutions for all support activities

Supporting installations, ramp-up phases and project go-lives

Performing robot retrofits, upgrades and calibrations (AGVs) to ensure optimal performance

Conducting test, quality checks and routine inspections to identify potential issues

Testing new hardware and participating in continuous improvement

Providing on-the-job training (OJT) for users and technicians when required

Qualification

Electrical forklift experienceCertified Forklift TechnicianMechanicalElectrical skillsRead electrical schematicsMS Office proficiencyCustomer-service mindsetOperate lift trucksFluent in EnglishSolid communication skills

Required

3–5+ years of experience as a technician on electrical forklifts

Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including electrical/electronic systems

Ability to read and understand electrical schematics

Solid communication skills and a strong customer-service mindset

Comfortable with MS Office tools

Valid driver's license and passport (or ability to obtain one)

Ability to safely operate lift trucks

Fluent in English

Preferred

Certified Forklift Technician

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate degree

Spanish is a plus
