They are seeking a Senior Specialist in Product Development to support product development from bench-top experiments to commercial launch, focusing on growing media and soil technologies. This role involves collaboration across various teams to align technologies with consumer and business needs while developing new products and improving existing formulations.

Responsibilities

Document, analyze, and report data to cross-functional teams, peers, and leadership making recommendations on path forward. Reports may be a combination of digital and oral presentation

Hands on development and verification of new formulations at lab, pilot, and manufacturing scales in accordance with all applicable compliance requirements (e.g. OMRI, OIM, USDA, EPA). Create, route, review necessary specifications within SAP and other applications

Provide technical support to operations, quality, and contract manufacturing for new or current formulations

Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure alignment on project goals and maximize efficient use of resources versus milestones and commercialization schedules

Engage with peers on formulation design and data analysis. Help onboard new and temporary associates through hands on instruction based on internal guidelines and experience

Required

Completed Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or other science/process related field

Years of experience required may vary based on the highest level of education completed. Example: Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of experience, or Master's degree with 0-2 years of experience

Experience within commercial based research is beneficial
