Start in 2027Kwest Group is a self-performing civil construction firm that leads the industry in safety and is seeking a Project Management Intern to gain hands-on experience in project management. The intern will assist the Senior Project Manager and Project Managers with estimating and project management support for multiple projects.

Responsibilities
Travel to project sites as needed
Assist in the preparation of quantity take-offs for proposals
Assist in the preparation of project setups
Provide clerical support to the project management team
Contact suppliers and subcontractors for quotes
Schedule and assist in the management of subcontractors and suppliers
Provide vendor support and solicitation for bids and ongoing projects
Assist senior project manager and project managers in pricing bid documents
Request accurate and timely reports from the project foremen, suppliers, and subcontractors assigned to all projects
Always represent Kwest Group in a professional manner
Maintain a positive attitude and good working relationships with customers, employees, and the public
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or related field
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software
Effective organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
Solid math and analytical skills
Ability to schedule and complete tasks without direct supervision
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
Must have knowledge of occupational hazards in construction field and standard safety practices
Must be able to pass the 30 Hour OSHA testing and First Aid/CPR requirements before starting work
Must complete and meet requirements under the physical demands of this job description through a pre-employment physical examination
