Responsibilities
Lead and influence a cross-functional global team of domain-specific architects toward a unified end-to-end solution architecture
Set clear goals, articulate expectations, and ensure alignment across global teams and organizational boundaries
Foster a collaborative culture focused on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement
Collaborate with engineering, product management, global leadership, and business development teams to achieve exceptional business outcomes
Work closely with the Global Product Manager for Microgrid Solutions to define architectures that support the 'solution-as-a-product' roadmap
Develop architectures for different market segments and time horizons, clearly articulating differences and commonalities
Define strategies that enable progressive development, leveraging existing work across time horizons
Understand development timelines for building blocks and use this knowledge to create scalable, future-ready solutions
Guide engineering teams on validation and execution of architectural concepts
Define internal vs. external execution balance and lead strategic workshops with global stakeholders
Apply experience and industry insights to evaluate engineering trade-offs and optimize solutions
Qualification
Required
15+ years of experience developing power-intensive architectures for energy applications, with at least 5 years in a global leadership role
MS in Electrical Engineering
Proven customer-facing experience delivering complex, multi-domain solutions
Strong understanding of power systems and power electronics, with working knowledge of software stacks and controls
Experience managing large cross-functional and global teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrated ability to solve customer problems, manage time horizons, and drive strategic outcomes
Knowledge of sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, paired with strong analytical and critical thinking skills and a disciplined approach to problem-solving
Proven self-starter with the initiative to take ownership of complex challenges, rapidly assimilate new concepts, and apply insights to drive sound decision-making and measurable outcomes
