Responsibilities

Coordinating cross-functional activities for platform planning, study start-up, recruitment readiness, and operational workflows across Penn and external partners
Supporting governance structures by preparing meeting agendas, tracking action items, documenting decisions, and maintaining program files
Assisting with timeline management by monitoring milestones, deliverables, and inter-dependencies
Contributing to the development and maintenance of protocols, informed consent documents, manuals, training materials, source documents, SOPs, and DSMB/Governance charters
Assisting with regulatory submissions and ensuring compliance with regulatory and institutional requirements
Supporting pre-award/post-award financial processes, contract timelines, invoicing and billing review
Serving as operational contact for internal and external partners, supporting communications, assisting with QA/QC and problem-solving
Training and supervising research staff
Leading strategic components of platform governance and cross-partner operational alignment
Overseeing complex, multi-site workstreams and ensuring harmonized platform processes
Driving development of platform-level infrastructure
Providing higher-level mentorship and leadership to project staff and partner teams
Identifying operational risks and developing mitigation strategies

Required

Bachelor's Degree with 5-7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required for B level
Master's degree and 3-5 years of experience preferred for B level
Bachelor's Degree with 7-10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required for C level
Master's degree and 5-7 years of experience preferred for C level

Must be highly organized with strong prioritization and time-management skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-paced, collaborative team
Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage multiple competing priorities
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience with industry, multi-site clinical trials, platform trials, or complex investigator-initiated studies
Experience in neurology, movement disorder or PD trials, or rare disease research
