Responsibilities
Collaborate with customers to clarify requirements and make technical decisions
Perform computer modeling, structural sizing, and component analysis
Prepare engineering drawings using AutoCAD from sketches or design notes
Apply design codes and specifications
Ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and schedule
Support shop personnel with technical issues as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil or related field
3+ years of experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural design software
Strong understanding of safety codes
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Preferred
PE certification
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Comfortable working at a desk for extended periods
Commitment to safety policies, PPE usage, and equipment inspections
