Field Engineer - Landfill Gas Technician

Weaver Consultants Group is seeking candidates for a Landfill Gas Technician opportunity in their Fort Worth office. The role involves providing gas extraction, leachate collections, and operations and maintenance services for the landfill industry.

Responsibilities

Landfill gas system operations and maintenance

Well field monitoring/tuning

Explosive gas monitoring

Surface emission monitoring

Liquid level monitoring

LFG flare monitoring/maintenance

Pulling/cleaning submersible pumps

LFG system troubleshooting

Maintain tools and equipment

Understand materials, methods, and tools used on site

Understand basic electrical safety requirements

Weld HDPE pipe and fittings

Extrusion welds HDPE liner materials

Understand how to use on-site equipment

Qualification

Landfill gas systemsWelding HDPE pipeExplosive gas monitoringConstruction experienceFlexible schedule

Required

Construction or previous experience with landfill gas systems preferred

25% overnight travel, Monday through Friday, with possible last-minute demand

Must be able to work in various weather conditions

Must be able to lift 75 lbs
