Responsibilities

Plan and design manufacturing processes to improve the fabrication of new and existing Axillon Aerospace products. Determines the parts, equipment, and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications. Maintain labor standards, safety initiatives, facility layout, capacity analysis, and process simulation. Contribute to the completion of organizational projects and goals
Participate in the introduction of new products to the manufacturing and supply chain environment. Transfer new products into production from a 'design for manufacturability' approach
Assist in process improvement projects aligned with business strategies. Analyze production processes and output quality to improve efficiency in production yields and throughput. Maximize efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Support capital equipment studies and proposal activity
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

Preferred

Knowledge of CAD software, SolidWorks and/or CATIA, is a plus
