Responsibilities
Perform minor repairs, such as unclogging drains, tightening hardware, patching small holes, and replacing basic parts
Complete routine safety checks (trip hazards, burnt-out bulbs, fire-lane obstructions, etc.)
Support compliance tasks such as documenting hazards or reporting code-related issues to the Property Manager
Assist with HVAC filter replacement and basic mechanical checks (EPA/HVAC certs a plus, not required)
Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple daily priorities
Qualification
Required
Basic knowledge of maintenance repairs (plumbing, electrical, patch/paint, mechanical troubleshooting)
Ability to identify safety hazards and follow code-compliance expectations
Strong time-management skills; able to work independently and handle multiple tasks
Comfortable performing all standard janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning common areas, restrooms, laundry rooms, and removing trash
Preferred
Technical certifications, such as EPA, HVAC, or building maintenance certifications, are a plus
EPA, HVAC, or technical certifications are a plus
