Responsibilities

Processing wafers to create FETs, MMICs, and FPAs in a cleanroom environment
Expected to work well in small, cross-functional teams, assist in pursuing contract R&D, and assist in transitioning processes into production
May manage small projects or processes within area of responsibility
Work autonomously with limited oversight
May provide input or guidance to lower-level professionals with tasks and assignments
Influences others regarding policies, practices, and procedures
Communicates with parties within and outside of own department. May have responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.)

Required

Typically a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior work experience semiconductor processing techniques such as: photolithography, dry etching, metals evaporation, and optical or scanning electron microscope inspections OR a Master's in STEM and 3 years of prior work experience OR a PhD in STEM
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Master's or PhD in STEM
Clearly and succinctly document and present process development status in a team meeting
Experience troubleshooting a diverse set of fabrication equipment in addition to establishing equipment qualification and preventative maintenance procedures
Experience with statistical process control and lean manufacturing methods (eg, Six Sigma)
Experience related to semiconductor processing, device physics, and data analysis
Experience utilizing data analysis software packages (e.g. MATLAB, Python, SQL, JMP)
Collaborate and lead and coordinate technical projects with diverse and cross-functional teams
Experience with characterizing, understanding, and improving semiconductor device performance and reliability
