Responsibilities

Desinging and developing high quality deliverables and Proof of Concepts (POCs), scalable backend services and APIs that power AI-driven features for Indirect Tax workflows
Collaborate and work cross-functionally and effectivly with with various Intuit teams, including: product management, vaious projects
Resolve defects/ bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches

Required

Bachlore's or Master's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
experience building production-grade systems
Strong proficiency in python, Java, or Kotlin, with a focus on backend and distributed systems
Expereince developing cloud-native microservices, leveraging containers and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Solid understanding in AI/ML integration including REST-based model consumption, LLM orchestration, or AI agents
Solid understanding of data modeling, APIs, event streaming (Kafka/SQS), and SQL/NoSQL
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across product, AI, and compliance

Preferred

Solid understanding search algorithms
Understanding LangChain, OpenAI APIs, or LLM-based system design
Exposure to observability tools
