Responsibilities
Design and develop steel storage tank systems and foundations using AutoCAD (ACAD)
Analyze customer requirements and translate them into effective project designs
Perform engineering calculations to ensure designs meet project, safety, and regulatory requirements
Provide engineering support for shop fabrication, field activities, and safety evaluations
Utilize Excel and STAAD software for structural analysis and calculations
Collaborate with engineers, designers, customers, sales teams, and project managers to deliver customer-focused solutions
Create detailed drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline)
Strong experience with AutoCAD (ACAD)
Working knowledge of STAAD or similar structural analysis software
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for engineering calculations
Solid understanding of structural design principles and steel construction
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred
Prior experience designing steel storage tanks or similar large steel structures
Experience supporting fabrication and field construction activities
Familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards
