Responsibilities
Lead the reliability strategy, direction, and roadmaps for the entire GDC Connected product
Engineer and maintain the systems and tools necessary to operate the platform at scale, focusing on areas like SLOs, monitoring, rollout safety, and production safety systems
Partner with development teams on design, launches, and ongoing operations
Share oncall responsibilities with the dev teams to ensure the platform meets customer expectations and SLAs
Foster a culture of reliability across the GDC engineering organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
4 years of experience with site reliability engineering focused on building and maintaining scalable, reliable systems
4 years of experience in automation and coding in Python
3 years of experience leading projects
3 years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
5 years of experience in Linux system administration
3 years of experience in Kubernetes
Experience in Linux administration
