Responsibilities

The Material Handler is responsible for loading and unloading materials and maintaining inventory within the facility

Operates lifting equipment to move products and materials within the facility and storage yard

Loads/unloads products and materials - includes strapping, bracing, and/or padding to prevent damage

Unpacks, verifies, and records incoming merchandise and material - ensures accuracy/condition, reports discrepancies/damage

Assembles wooden or cardboard containers, or selects pre-assembled containers - prepares manufactured goods for shipment

Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies

Responsible for light vehicle maintenance (lift and automobile)

Other duties may be assigned
