Responsibilities
Serves as a junior analyst for the Army NAF Employee Benefits Office at the IMCOM Headquarters level performing a variety of analytical duties for one or more program areas
Assists supervisor or senior program analyst in the administration of processes and analytical support associated with assigned program areas
Determines data required for analysis and devises appropriate methods for securing required information from sources such as reports, surveys, on-site investigations, discussions with officials, statutes, policies, plans, schedules, etc
Analyzes issues, selects and applies accepted analytical techniques
Develops initial conclusions and recommendations for problems analyzed for submission to senior analyst or supervisor
Conducts initial audit reviews and assists in reconciliation efforts
Is responsible for invoicing for program insurance providers
Is responsible for facilitation of training and outreach events
May oversee operating procedures for a variety of administrative and/or program support functions
Qualification
Required
Experience performing work similar to the duties listed above
Documented experience must have been equivalent in complexity and difficulty to the next lower grade/level
Knowledge of assigned programs, the roles they play in supporting total Army programs, and their contribution to Army MWR
Knowledge of the basic principles, concepts, and methodologies required to perform various analytical techniques
Preferred
Experience in building Microsoft PowerBI dashboards
Experience with Army NAF Employee Benefits, as well as applicable audits and data reconciliation
Experience with facilitating training and outreach events
Experience with employee benefits systems
