General Manager- Finance and HR
Confidential is a family-owned medical device firm focused on innovative surgical technologies. The General Manager of Finance and HR will oversee non-sales operations, manage finances, and act as an HR intermediary, allowing the CEO to concentrate on revenue-generating activities.

Responsibilities
Managing our warehouse/inventory, alongside our CEO, we will ensure that you have a comfortable understanding of ideal par levels/stocking requirements. Reviewing and reporting stagnant inventory, and rebates against margin minimums for large volume purchases
We also have an outsourced specialty logistics business that is very efficiently run, which our warehouse manager runs on a day to day basis, but he will report to you. On a monthly basis, when our fees are collected, you will be responsible for managing these
Being the primary point of contact for our IT provider
Managing our banking/finances on a daily level, including any and all journal entries, and drawing up monthly financial statement, as well as working alongside our accountant at year end
You will be the primary financial point of contact with all of our suppliers
Creating reports for our operations manager to process based upon sales history from our non-stocking partners. We have both a warehoused business, and a non-stocking business for certain complex medical device partners as well, where we are just the sales force
Processing Payroll, 401K contributions, Wire Payments, and occasionally complex commission payments
Sales Tax Reporting and payments to States/Cities
Qualification
Required
Strong accounting background
Bachelor's degree
Ability to commute to Cedar Grove, NJ 07009
Experience in managing warehouse/inventory
Experience in managing banking/finances on a daily level
Experience in processing payroll, 401K contributions, wire payments, and sales tax reporting
Experience in creating reports based on sales history
Experience in being the primary financial point of contact with suppliers
Experience in working as an HR intermediary with a PEO
