Corporate Litigation Associate Attorney
Robert Half is a nationally recognized plaintiff-side litigation firm seeking an entrepreneurial Associate to join its Corporate Governance Litigation practice. The role involves representing institutional investors in high-stakes corporate governance matters and litigating complex fiduciary duty and commercial disputes.
Responsibilities
Represent institutional investors in high-stakes corporate governance and shareholder rights matters
Litigate complex fiduciary duty, merger, and commercial disputes, with a focus on achieving precedent-setting governance reforms
Take on meaningful responsibility early, working directly on sophisticated cases often opposite senior defense counsel
Contribute to matters that increase market transparency, enhance shareholder value, and hold corporate leadership accountable
Qualification
Required
JD required (approximately 2018–2022 graduates considered; flexibility for exceptional candidates)
Strong financial literacy and comfort with sophisticated business concepts
Entrepreneurial, proactive mindset with the ability to learn quickly
Desire to represent investors rather than corporations
Excellent time management, communication, and multitasking skills
Willingness to take ownership of multiple complex matters
Preferred
Admission to the Delaware Bar preferred; New York Bar also considered
Experience with complex stockholder, commercial, or Delaware corporate litigation
Exposure to Chancery Court, fiduciary duty, merger, or appraisal litigation is a plus
Judicial clerkship (Delaware Chancery or Supreme Court) strongly preferred
