Sales Engineer - Commercial HVAC Special Projects
Enervise, LLC is a leader in providing Mechanical Retrofit and Design Build Solutions for HVAC and Plumbing. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for selling commercial HVAC and plumbing design build projects, developing client relationships, and managing project scope and execution.

Responsibilities
Provide Sales Leadership and innovate Mechanical Retrofit and Design build Solutions and foster relationships with our long-term clients to enhance their Building Thermal Comfort, IAQ, and Energy Savings
Be the “Design and Engineering resource” for our Business Development Sales team and Service Technicians
Source Professional Engineering for design, engineering and energy savings calculations and audits for all Projects
Subcontractors: develop relationships with quality subcontractors in each trade
Innovation – ensure that Enervise evolves as a leader in providing High Performance Building retrofit solutions
Provide “Rainmaker role” qualifying and closing Project Sales
Meeting an Annual Personal Sales Goals
Prospecting: the Enervise maintenance base and networking outside the client base for referrals to develop qualified leads for Retrofits, Building Automation upgrades, and Design Build Projects
Project development: Qualifying new prospects, developing Project scope, design, preliminary engineering, or specifying Project engineering of mechanical, controls and energy solutions performed by engineering partners, estimating, proposal generation and presentation, and closing Project contracts at qualified margins
Project design and engineering: Develop and work as needed through consulting engineering firms to prepare HVAC design-build plans, load calculations, equipment and system sizing, write equipment specifications and outsource design CAD drawings for commercial/industrial applications, and coordinate with Enervise project management and delivery team
After the sale: making equipment selections and coordinating equipment buyout, procuring final engineering (utilizing outside engineering support when needed), ensuring permit drawings are engineered to meet current codes, ensuring a quality turnover with project management and field supervisors and providing after sales support through to successful job completion that the Project meets scope definition, projected gross margins and customer expectations
Project Support: ensure that proper Subcontractor and Material and Equipment provider contracts are made to manage Project risk
Qualification
Required
Experience in Commercial HVAC/Plumbing Design and Sales
Ability to develop a book of business and project pipeline
Strong consultative sales skills
Experience in Mechanical Retrofit and Design Build Solutions
Ability to foster relationships with long-term clients
Experience in project development including qualifying new prospects and developing project scope
Ability to work with consulting engineering firms for HVAC design-build plans
Experience in estimating, proposal generation, and closing project contracts
Ability to ensure project meets scope definition, projected gross margins, and customer expectations
Strong networking and business development skills
Ability to work collaboratively with internal sales leads and subcontractors
Experience in providing after sales support
Ability to meet annual personal sales goals
