Finishing Operator
Globus Medical is dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients with musculoskeletal disorders. The Finishing Operator is responsible for inspecting and finishing small, machined components to ensure they meet company standards.

Responsibilities
Visually inspects machined components using stereo-microscope
Performs support functions and secondary operations in manufacturing after being safely trained and familiarized with the operation and upkeep of required company equipment
Operates manual and automated manufacturing equipment per process instructions
Setups and runs the bending cell and Polishing cell
Installs screw thread inserts
Measures and inspects medical device products in accordance with manufacturing specifications
Cleans, blasts, tumbles, and spins sub-components following established procedures
Utilizes hand tools including but not limited to deburring knives, files, and pneumatic tools to remove burrs and assemble parts
Uses automatic machine equipment to bend, polish, tumble, blast, and clean. The ability to hand blast.Visually inspects utilizing illumination devices & microscope to view internal areas of components to ensure they are adequately deburred
Escalates problems/issues to the Finishing manager
Accurately completes all quality documentation and inspection sheets
Follows all verbal and/or written instructions such as blueprints, traveler, work instruction, process specifications, sketches, and direction from supervisor in completing a variety of assembly and inspection tasks
Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to work under a microscope for an extended period of time
Ability to read part drawings; above average manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
Organized, Team player with the ability to multi-task effectively
Reliable, self-starting team player with ability to work with little or no supervision
Strong communication skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Self-starter
Advanced critical thinking and problems-solving skills
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products
