Alliance Consumer Group is seeking a Bus Solutions Engineer-FE to proactively analyze business needs and develop technical solutions for customer-facing systems. The role involves translating solutions into technical requirements, collaborating with development teams, and delivering training to end users.

Responsibilities

Proactively monitor the business needs within assigned departments and gather requirements to support their Technology needs

Develop technical solutions that are intuitive and end-user-friendly which integrate with and support the desired business processes

Translate technical solutions into development specifications and liaise between the business and the development team to achieve the desired end-result

Work closely with the development team to implement technical solutions

Provide frequent, clear, and concise status updates to relevant personnel via email and/or project meetings

Serve as the Super Administrator for assigned systems, performing configuration activities within the framework of the application as required

Develop and run test scenarios as required to implement technical solutions or as required for periodic application upgrades

Create supporting documentation for assigned systems and keep up to date with changes to the applications

Design and deliver end user training for assigned systems to the relevant business personnel to support and expedite their adoption of the platform in a standardized manner

Periodically audit transactions to ensure end users adhere to established business processes

Provide support to the business with assigned applications by troubleshooting issues and correcting where there are configuration issues and escalating to development team or third-party support teams when there is an issue outside of configuration

Required

4-year degree in Computer Systems or related field or equivalent work experience

Strong understanding of best-in-class customer-facing business processes and experience implementing and supporting those processes

Strong analytic and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated ability to bridge between the business end users and the technical team, including consultants

Strong ability to collaborate with all levels of resources, technical and non-technical, employees or contractors, on-shore and off-shore

Strong understanding and ability to design an intuitive UI/UX within an application's framework

Ability to work in both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies

Ability to communicate using Microsoft Office

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong work ethic and ability to meet tight deadlines

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA and all other applicable federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
