Mid, Senior LevelMeharry Medical College is seeking a Cyberinfrastructure Facilitator to act as a bridge between faculty, student researchers, and cyberinfrastructure resources. The role involves supporting the design and implementation of an EduCore framework powered by large language models and advancing cybersecurity research, including organizing workshops and providing technical guidance.

Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of the machine learning and large language models (ML/LLMs)-based EduCore framework and implement cybersecurity strategies in the Edge–Cloud environment, including system validation – 40%
Develop applications, testbeds, and related software tools to support research objectives – 10%
Participate in collaborative research activities and contribute to the preparation of grant proposals – 25%
Assist the PI in organizing workshops, bootcamps, and student training sessions – 10%
Perform data analysis and interpretation of results generated from research projects – 15%
Qualification
Required
Strong computing background in Cybersecurity, Cyberinfrastructure, and Machine Learning
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, R, Java, or C/C++)
Ability to design, develop, and validate ML/LLM-based frameworks and research software
Strong analytical skills for data analysis and interpretation of research outputs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for workshops, training, and collaborative research
The qualified candidate should hold a Master/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field
Preferred
Demonstrated experience with ML/LLM-based frameworks for research or application development
Preference will be given the qualified candidate holding a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field
