Responsibilities
Lead the HR function and champion a positive, people-centered culture
Shape and strengthen the culture of the credit union
Build relationships and solve challenges as a trusted partner to employees
Handle both logistical and strategic human resources work
Oversee benefits administration, employee relations, recruiting and hiring strategy, performance management, payroll, and HR technology support
Empower employees to use the online HR portal and encourage a culture of self-service
Coordinate and collaborate effectively with third-party vendors for HR initiatives
Finalize the transition from the current money purchase plan to a new 401(k) plan with expanded features
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
8–10+ years of HR leadership experience in the financial services industry
Expertise in benefits, compensation, employee relations, recruiting, career development, and payroll
Familiarity with accounting processes and relevant regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
Preferred
Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)
