Statistical Analyst/Programmer

Responsibilities

Organizes, maintains and manages data used in large research studies from multiple sources
Designs analytical databases and maintaining the integrity of the databases, including merging of multiple data sets and data manipulation to perform statistical analysis
Manages large data sets involving multiple years of data
Interaction with remote consultants or team members
Provides statistical analyses for multiple projects including multiple logistic and linear regression, quasi-experimental methods, longitudinal analysis, hierarchical models, and survey analysis
Development of scientific reports and presentations
Gives guidance to, and collaborates with faculty members and statisticians on analytical objectives
Other duties as assigned

Required

Minimum of two years' post-secondary education or relevant work experience
Experience with STATA and R required

Preferred

Master's degree in Statistics/Biostatistics preferred, with 1-3 years working experience
Strong database management and computer skills
Advanced skills/experience in statistical programming and data management
Knowledge of statistical research methodology/principles
Knowledge of Python and Databricks
Summarizes/interprets complex analyses and strong deductive reasoning skills
Maintains detailed documentation of data management and programming work
Comfortable working with multiple PIs and multiple projects at the same time
