Senior HRIS Manager
Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is dedicated to transforming emergency care for pets and their families. The Senior Manager of HRIS will oversee the development and management of HRIS systems, particularly focusing on Workday, to enhance data accuracy and streamline workflows for the organization.

Responsibilities
Lead and Evolve HRIS Strategy: Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for VEG’s HR technology ecosystem – including Workday – ensuring alignment with business priorities and continuous improvement through automation and workflow optimization
Drive Workday Configuration and Enhancements: Oversee end-to-end Workday configuration and enhancement projects across core modules (HCM, Security, Compensation, Benefits and Talent), managing project lifecycles from business requirements through deployment and adoption
Ensure System Integrity and Performance: Manage day-to-day HRIS operations, ensuring data accuracy, security, and minimal downtime through proactive system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting
Enable Data-Driven Decision-Making: Deliver actionable people analytics through dashboards, reporting, and insights that support strategic planning across payroll, benefits, performance and more
Collaborate with a High-Performing Team: Partner with a team of HRIS analysts, building deep system expertise across the organization while fostering a culture of innovation, service and continuous learning
Partner with Stakeholders: Serve as a trusted collaborator and provide training and support to cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, Payroll and Operations to ensure seamless integration of HRIS with other enterprise systems
Qualification
Required
6–8 years of experience in HR systems, with at least 4+ years of hands-on Workday configuration and administration
Proven track record leading end-to-end system implementations, optimizations, or upgrades
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, stakeholders, and competing priorities
Experience translating business needs into scalable system solutions across multiple functional areas
Clear, confident communicator with a collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally across departments
Preferred
Workday certification
Experience with related platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Cornerstone, ServiceNow)
