Responsibilities
Submit insurance applications and track progress throughout the underwriting and issuance process
Follow up on outstanding requirements to ensure timely policy issuance
Answer questions regarding policies and premium payments
Explain insurance coverage and policy details in a clear and concise manner
Process policy changes, including address updates, beneficiary changes and claims
Know when to refer complex issues to appropriate departments within the company
Maintain accurate customer records and transaction history
Stay updated on insurance regulations and company policies
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's or associate degree
At least 2 years' experience in life insurance and annuity operations
Strong understanding of underwriting processes and insurance application requirements
Attention to detail, organization and ability to manage multiple applications efficiently
Effective communication skills for working with advisors, clients and insurance carriers
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Eastern time zone preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) strongly preferred
Proficiency with Salesforce preferred
