Jobsite AP Coordinator
BMWC Constructors is an industrial construction company seeking a Jobsite AP Coordinator who will primarily focus on processing accounts payable and subcontractor invoices. This role involves various accounting tasks and requires collaboration with the construction team and vendors to ensure accurate financial operations.
Responsibilities
Code, verify/match, and process accounts payable invoices for job BMWC’s work in Lebanon, IN
Assist construction team and accounts payable team with quantity and value disputes with vendors
Reconcile vendor and subcontractor statements, as necessary
Compile packing slips, delivery tickets, invoices, and purchase orders for the billing team
Propose purchase order adjustments to purchasers should they be required
Assist project team in tracking commitments with vendors
Assist project team in tracking vendor rental arrangements
Perform cost transfer adjustments as needed
Communicate and work with vendors regarding payment status and missing invoices
Index required documentation in shared drives and in ERP as necessary
Assist the construction team with any vendor related reporting requirements
Ensure data retention and information systems are updated and maintained appropriately within defined protocols and standards
Assist construction team with other accounting-based needs
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in an accounting role
Preferred
Previous work experience in the construction industry
