They are seeking an entry-level Transportation Roadway Intern to join their teams in Atlanta, GA, where the intern will be mentored by technical experts in roadway transportation design and assist with various engineering tasks.

Responsibilities
Prepare conceptual designs and construction plans through the utilization of Open Roads design software
Create engineering designs involving geometric design of highways and streets, drainage design (hydrology and hydraulics), and completing construction engineering and inspection tasks
Assist with completion of transportation planning reports, roadway safety studies, and various traffic engineering projects
Qualification
Required
Currently seeking Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or another closely related field
Preferred
EIT Certification
Experience using OpenRoads
Basic understanding of the application of geometric and traffic operations principles including AASHTO, MUTCD, and state DOT requirements/policies
