Responsibilities

Assist Senior PR Managers with daily responsibilities related to publicity programs and initiatives
Support media relations strategies, including agency plans and special events, to secure press coverage across diverse outlets
Coordinate press activity for product launches, fan events, press-only product previews, and brand publicity moments
Help the group with administrative tasks such as coordinating product mailings, ordering products, maintaining a shared calendar of PR activity, opening purchase orders for projects, drafting, editing and routing press materials, monitoring and reporting media results
Maintain ongoing timelines, campaign documentation and workback schedules for PR and marketing activations
Proactively “manage up and down” to ensure tasks and timelines are clear across internal collaborators; proactively communicate blockers
Maintain quality control for all press materials and ensure accuracy before broader internal or external distribution
Draft and refine messaging documents, tough questions, Q&As and briefing materials
Assist with writing and editing press releases, media alerts, fact sheets and talking points
Manage review and approval workflows for messaging and materials across internal and external collaborators
Support organization and scheduling of asset releases, key marketing beats, and media engagement moments
Be available for real-time collaboration via email, Slack, and Teams during agreed-upon hours
Attend recurring weekly calls and ad-hoc calls as needed and agreed upon
Ensure all coverage and recap reports are data-driven, highlighting outcomes, sentiment and alignment with established critical metrics
Translate results into meaningful recommendations for next steps or optimization
Ensure press coverage wins are highlighted in weekly Hasbro press coverage reports

Required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience from a 4-year college with a focus in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
1-3 years of progressive experience in a public relations agency or public relations department, preferably supporting global initiatives, games, and/or entertainment properties
Excellent writing & communication skills
Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
