Legal Talent Acquisition Manager
Armstrong Teasdale is a law firm seeking a Legal Talent Acquisition Manager to manage their recruiting process for law students and lateral associates. This role is essential for the firm's growth and involves overseeing recruiting processes, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining recruitment data.
Responsibilities
Manages the lateral associate and law student recruiting and interview processes from sourcing and candidate submission to hire
Coordinates with the Hiring Partner and Office Managing Attorneys to plan and facilitate law student recruiting and the summer associate program
Ensures accuracy and maintenance of legal recruiting data
Leverages recruiting technology to source candidates
Liaises with external recruiting agencies and law school career services to identify top talent
Supervises direct reports in the Legal Talent Acquisition department
Maintains a strong working relationship across multiple departments within the firm, ensuring a smooth onboarding for all lateral and law student candidates
Supports the Director of Legal Talent Acquisition and Chief Talent and Practice Management Officer with ad hoc requests
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred
5+ years working in a law firm managing the law student and lateral associate recruiting process across multiple offices
familiarity with ATS and candidate sourcing systems
supervision of direct reports
excellent attention to detail
superior written and verbal communication
exceptional client service
ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and responsibilities
strong analytical skills
Experience with partner recruiting is a plus
