Responsibilities
Observe, monitor, and record assigned drilling operations
Perform groundwater sampling and other wellfield data collection activities as required
Characterize samples of drill cuttings and record geologic observations
Perform aquifer permit compliance activities, including wellfield performance monitoring
Assist as necessary with the preparation of technical reports
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Geology or equivalent field is required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Must be able to effectively manage time, set priorities and manage multiple tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred
Experience observing and recording well drilling operations and related activities is a plus
Well drilling or geological logging experience would be beneficial
Experience with wellfield sampling, analysis and monitoring is preferred
Database/data logger experience is preferred
Some familiarity with aquifer related regulations is preferred
Technical report writing experience preferred
