Responsibilities

Optimize and Secure Our Network: Ensure a simplified, high-performing, and secure network from ISP to device
Modernize Infrastructure: Standardize and update on-premise systems while leading the migration to a cloud-first environment—working toward 100% cloud-only end users
Enhance Identity & Access: Deploy robust Identity Management and Single Sign-On frameworks for staff, students, and authorized personnel
Drive Operational Excellence: Define and implement a support framework that promotes rapid resolution, self-service, and cost efficiency
Lead Problem Management: Identify recurring incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and launch projects to eliminate issues
Champion IT Policies: Establish and prioritize IT policies and procedures to strengthen governance and compliance
Manage People & Partners: Oversee IT support teams, MSP relationships, and ensure top-tier performance

Required

Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline OR 15+ years in network engineering, infrastructure, and application support
5+ years implementing ITIL or similar ITSM frameworks
3–5 years in a Service Desk environment and 2–3 years as Incident or Problem Manager
Proven ability to design and implement ITSM workflows
Strong troubleshooting and technical repair skills
Experience supporting SIS, LMS, and CRM systems in higher education
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skilled in performance management and vendor oversight
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
