Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage the application development team

Oversee all application development, sustainment, and release management activities

Coordinate with IT, cybersecurity, and data center teams to ensure seamless integration and operations

Provide overall leadership for application development and sustainment, ensuring timely delivery and quality of software solutions

Implement and enforce best practices in DevOps, Agile methodology, SDLC, and release management

Plan, install, maintain, and troubleshoot all application development servers and applications, including after-hours and emergency support as required

Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of web, mobile, and enterprise applications

Oversee the use of DevOps tools and methodologies, including GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing

Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and compliant with DoD, Army, and DLIFLC standards

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project objectives, and track progress

Provide technical guidance and support to application developers and junior staff

Maintain and update documentation for application architecture, design, deployment, and operations

Support cloud integration and hybrid environments (Amazon, Microsoft, Google cloud services)

Ensure operational support for large, highly scalable applications

Required

BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years of experience, or AA/AS with 7+ years of experience

Any one of the following: IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification

7 years of progressive experience as an Application Developer in .NET

Experience leading teams

Experience with DevOps methodologies, GitLab, and Agile methodologies

Relevant experience with Amazon, Microsoft, or Google cloud services

Required skills include .NET, JAVA, SQL, MySQL, VDX, IIS, HTML5, Linux, Tomcat, Apache, SharePoint, iOS Development/Sustainment, PhP, and WordPress
