Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with sales teams during the post-sales phase to understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions that meet their strategic objectives
Travel 50% around New England (day travel only)
Lead technical demonstrations and product presentations to showcase the value and capabilities of our solutions, ensuring clients are fully engaged and informed
Design, architect, and implement complex solutions involving computer networking, cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, virtualization technologies like VMware, and Linux-based environments
Provide expert guidance on integrating our solutions with existing client infrastructure, including configuring network components, cloud services, and security protocols
Support project management efforts by coordinating technical activities, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful deployment within scope and schedule
Conduct analysis of client environments to identify potential challenges or opportunities for optimization, offering proactive recommendations
Assist clients with troubleshooting issues post-deployment, ensuring smooth operation through effective problem resolution using tools like Python scripting or Bash (Unix shell)
Deliver engaging product demos that clearly articulate technical benefits while aligning with customer goals in pre-sales or post-sales contexts
Act as a trusted technical advisor by providing ongoing support, training, and documentation to empower clients in managing their solutions effectively
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership to engineering teams
Must be fully knowledgeable and able to design and plan, implement and support IT solutions using a majority of the following technologies: Networking (routing and switching) including Cisco Catalyst and Nexus, Meraki, Aruba, Extreme, Arista
Cisco Catalyst Center and Cisco ISE, including SDA fabric design, device onboarding, policy orchestration, and SGT-based segmentation
WiFi including Cisco, Meraki, Aruba Mist
8–12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise networking, network architecture, and technical leadership
Ability to travel to customer locations, primarily in New England region
Professional customer service skills on video conference and in person
Proven experience leading large-scale network modernization or migration projects
Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to translate complex technical concepts for executives and stakeholders
Strong vendor management and ability to lead technical discussions with partners and customers
Ability to mentor engineers, teach best practices, and guide architectural decision-making
Proven ability to lead troubleshooting efforts during high-severity incidents
Preferred
CCIE (Enterprise/Security/Wireless) strongly preferred
Additional certifications such as AWS/Azure Architect, CWNP, or Palo Alto Networks certs are a plus
Multiple Industry recognized Certifications. i.e.: CCNA, CCNP, PSE, ACE
CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security, or CCNP Wireless (highly desirable)
Firewall/ Security including Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto and Fortinet Cisco ACI, including fabric setup, policy modeling, and tenant/VRF design
