Responsibilities

Work with executive engineers on the team to deliver improvements to the Load Balancing products and associated infrastructure

Build features and improve infrastructure to support scaling Load Balancing products to meet the needs of our Google Cloud Platform customers

Work with the product team, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and other Cloud teams to extend the functionality of the Load Balancing platform

Participate in a tier-2 dev on-call rotation, and a business-hours only customer issue rotation

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields

2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms

Experience developing accessible technologies
