Responsibilities

Gain practical experience by contributing to real-world solid waste projects
Participate in mentorship and young professionals programs, connecting with recent graduates and company leaders
Assist in applying standard engineering techniques and procedures to projects
Complete assignments under the direct supervision of a licensed professional engineer or project manager
Perform additional duties as required to support project objectives
Support onsite condition assessments and outage activities associated with waste to energy facilities
Support onsite condition assessments and operational evaluations at landfill facilities, assisting with inspection documentation, environmental compliance reviews, and maintenance planning activities

Required

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
Attention to detail
Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred

Currently pursuing a degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline, with at least 2 years completed and a minimum GPA of 3.0
Demonstrated interest about solid waste management
Familiarity with engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, WaterCAD, GIS, or other relevant packages
Strong communication, problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
