Process Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

Responsible for evaluating processes and procedures across assigned processes to improve sustainability, reduce cost, and develop best practices
Apply problem solving tools and lead cross functional problem-solving teams to identify and eliminate non-value-added tasks and/or activities in the various areas of responsibility down to the root cause
Actively involved in creating documents related to quality function. Documentation includes, but not limited to, quality procedures, quality processes, quality alerts, quality gates, forms, checklists etc
Assists with the ISO 9001:2015 program. Serve as Internal Auditor
Prepares reports and presentations by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data, making recommendations
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed; maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Ensure products meet quality requirements according to internal testing methods and standards
Lead the efforts in advanced quality planning for new products

Required

At least 3 years of experience in a quality engineering role
Excellent knowledge of quality standards and quality techniques
Ability to drive and conduct problem solving processes using structured problem-solving methods
Experience in a product assembly environment
Knowledge of PDCA, Lean and 5S
Knowledge of ISO 9001
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Preferred

Experience with SAP preferred
Internal Auditing referred
Bachelor's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering is preferred
