Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive conflicts checks for new business, lateral hires, and other firm activities
Analyze and resolve potential conflicts of interest, adhering to firm policies and ethical guidelines
Draft and review conflict waivers and other necessary documentation
Utilize conflicts management software (e.g., Intapp Open) and other online research tools to ensure accurate reporting
Collaborate with attorneys and staff across various practice areas to facilitate conflict clearance and provide guidance on professional responsibility matters
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Minimum of 2-3 years of dedicated conflicts analysis and resolution experience within a law firm setting
Proficiency in conflicts management databases and online research tools
Strong analytical, communication (written and verbal), and problem-solving skills
Ability to work autonomously and manage a demanding workload in a remote environment
Preferred
Active and in good standing license to practice law in the District of Columbia (DC) is preferred but not required
