Sr Security Operations Engineer (CSOC)

Responsibilities
Triage and investigate endpoint, email, DLP, identity, and cloud alerts; escalate major incidents and drive root-cause analysis
Execute CSOC XDR playbooks; identify scope, recommend containment/eradication, and document actions
Fine-tune rules, hunts, and dashboards in SIEM/EDR to improve signal-to-noise and detection coverage
Design secure agentic automations and copilot experiences; build integrations/connectors, instrument telemetry pipelines, and codify detection logic
Author runbooks/playbooks and automation specs aligned with CSOC process documents; engage stakeholders to meet segmentation, encryption, and least-privilege requirements
Qualification
Required
5–8+ years in SOC/L2–L3 analysis or detection engineering
Hands-on scripting experience (Python/PowerShell) and building integrations/orchestrations
Ability to convert analyst workflows into secure automations; familiarity with SARB/EIS processes
Preferred
Experience with agentic patterns and governed AI deployments
Detection content development and hunt methodology
Familiarity with CSOC process documents and data classification in AI proof-of-concepts
