Responsibilities
Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations of individuals entering and exiting the premises
Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity
Assist with traffic control and vehicle inspections as required at entry and exit points
Document and report any unusual activity or hazards observed during patrols or at access points
Support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
