Responsibilities

Handle the full lifecycle of legal cases—from setup to closing—using Casepeer management software
Assist counsel in preparing discovery responses, drafting shells, and compiling documentation for complex discovery requests
Coordinate and calendar hearings, trials, and depositions; prepare subpoenas and arrange for court reporters
Execute electronic court filings at the state level and draft invoices and enclosures as requested
Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the litigation process, ensuring they feel supported and informed

Required

Certified Paralegal
At least 2 years of paralegal experience specifically within a Personal Injury (PI) firm
A Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year university is required
Familiarity with electronic state court filings and case management software
An outgoing, 'people-person' personality with strong multitasking abilities and meticulous follow-through
Ability to work in-person at our Manhattan Beach office (flexible start times between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM)

Preferred

Legal Assistant experience is welcomed if you hold a Paralegal Certificate
Being a Spanish speaker is a significant plus
