IQEQ is a specialized, non-depository trust company that provides directed trustee services to high-net-worth individuals. The Strategic Client Relationship Director will manage client relationships, oversee trust administration, and contribute to business development efforts.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for clients and their advisors and provide exceptional client service

Manage all facets of trust administration:

Coordinate directions from investment and distribution advisors

Oversee tax and compliance filings alongside our tax department

Coordinate new investment set-up and asset additions within trust structures

Play an active role in business development by attending financial, legal, and estate planning industry events

Lead the on-boarding process for new trust accounts

Participate in internal and external training programs to understand, and improve upon, the unique elements of our directed trust business

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, law, finance or related field (CPA, CFP, or CTFA is a plus)

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial institution, law firm, accounting, or consulting firm

Exceptional understanding of fiduciary responsibilities and estate planning principles

Strong communication skills and the willingness to learn the broad range of trust administration and operational / compliance requirements of a directed trust company

Client relationship management experience, preferably in a fiduciary capacity

Excellent problem-solving skills and a desire to learn and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
