Revenue Strategist
The City of New York is seeking a Revenue Strategist to join the Parking Operations Planning and Analysis division. The role involves analyzing revenue data, evaluating projections, and providing insights to assist in decision-making related to the Division's initiatives.

Responsibilities
Creates logic for data analytical exercises, build templates and algorithms for data processing and clean-up
Analyzes and troubleshoots large datasets, identifying all data quality issues and recommend resolutions
Builds internal data repository with clean and error-free data
Monitors and analyses the performance of all citywide meters and zones to identify variances and trends
Prepares comprehensive visualization reports and presentations as needed
Completes special projects, develops spreadsheets, and handles ad-hoc requests as needed
Assists in tracking and coordinating data quality management efforts with internal and external stakeholders
Qualification
Required
A doctorate degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological, environmental or social science and one year of full-time experience in a responsible supervisory, administrative or research capacity in the appropriate field of specialization
A master's degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological, environmental or social science and three years of responsible full-time research experience in the appropriate field of specialization
Education and/or experience which is equivalent to '1' or '2' above. However, all candidates must have at least a master's degree in an appropriate field of specialization and at least two years of experience described in '2' above
Two years as a City Research Scientist Level I can be substituted for the experience required in '1' and '2' above
Excellent data management, analytical, financial, statistical, and computer skills
Very strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to work cooperatively in a team environment
Very organized and detail oriented
