Responsibilities

Provide legal counsel and support to outside counsel in management of legal proceedings and related litigation matters, including reviewing pleadings and discovery, and preparing employees for depositions
Assist in addressing legal issues associated with residential property management, to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and statutes
Provide legal analysis, strategy, and solutions in assisting the litigation team in managing claims, litigation, and risk management strategies with business stakeholders

Required

JD degree and admitted to the practice of law in Georgia, Arizona, or Texas
Knowledge of residential real estate and property management related claims and litigation
Ability to multi-task, work independently, lead large projects, and run fast-paced matters
Excellent organizational, drafting, and communication skills
Strong presentation and project management skills in working with business partners and other stakeholders
Work with compliance team in developing risk mitigation strategies for business partners and stakeholders
Experience managing outside counsel
Capacity to work in a high-volume environment and a changing legal and policy landscape
2+ years of litigation or other relevant legal experience at a top law firm or from an in-house corporate

Preferred

Experience working on class actions, consumer protection matters or government investigations
Having In-house legal experience is a plus when applying for a position in our legal department
