Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support applications written in RPG Free / RPGLE on IBM i
Enhance and maintain a customized ERP environment
Work across multiple business systems including operational, inventory, and financial processes
Troubleshoot production issues and implement system improvements
Collaborate with internal developers and business users
Participate in documentation and knowledge transfer activities

Qualification

RPG developmentIBM i (AS400)DB2 for iRPG Free / RPGLEERP systemsCL programmingLegacy system modernizationProblem-solving skillsCommunication skills

Required

7+ years of RPG development on IBM i / AS400
Experience with RPG Free / RPGLE
Working knowledge of DB2 for i and embedded SQL
Experience supporting complex, long-lived business systems
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite) in Calhoun, GA
Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred

Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments
Exposure to ERP systems (custom or commercial)
Experience with CL, service programs, procedures, or modern IBM i tooling (RDi, Git, change management tools)
Legacy system modernization experience
