Responsibilities
This position will be required to learn and assist all required machine and support 17’’ winder equipment set ups
Mechanical skills to operate, set up, and trouble shoot equipment as required will also be needed
Ability to operate cutter
This team member will also be required to perform machine preventative maintenance on various pieces of equipment related to the carpet yarn line
The technician position will require proficiency level to operate machine on a substitute basis
Qualification
Required
Must be willing to work overtime when needed
Proven record of success in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work with various teams
Good eye to spot defects in the packing line
Personal hands-on and analytical abilities
Organizational skills
Attention to detail
Mechanical skills to operate, set up, and troubleshoot equipment as required
Ability to operate cutter
Perform machine preventative maintenance on various pieces of equipment related to the carpet yarn line

Ability to interpret and understand Oracle production orders and requirements to enter required Oracle data
Report and track production information - scrap, machine efficiency, machine down time, paper usage
Assist other crew members as required - set ups, packaging aspects, quality requirements, and all other related production specs
Ability to document and maintain machine log
Reporting of quality measurements and metrics
Excellent machine set up skills
Understanding of buildups and tube constructions
Cutter set up procedures

Excellent knowledge of all LOTO requirements
Initiative and ability to understand sense of urgency to meet customer requirements
