Responsibilities

Responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive training programs for all revenue cycle staff across the academic health system
Ensures that all team members involved in patient registration, billing, claims processing, denial management, and collections are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to maximize revenue, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance the patient financial experience
Collaborates closely with RCM leadership, clinical operations, IT, and compliance departments to align training initiatives with the organization's goals and evolving healthcare regulations
Partners closely with executive leadership, operational teams, and finance to ensure that revenue cycle operations meet the highest standards of performance, compliance, and patient-centered service
Plays a critical leadership role in advancing Mount Sinai Health System’s mission of delivering exceptional patient care by ensuring the efficiency, financial strength, and operational excellence of our enterprise Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) function
Partners cross-functionally with internal RCM leaders, IT, and external partners to support enterprise revenue cycle transformation initiatives
