IT Systems Specialist

Responsibilities
Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring the delivery of services that meet organizational needs and standards
Oversee and validate vendor solutions such as EDR, AV, and MDM solutions
Manage vendor KPI’s and metrics and hold vendor(s) accountable to service delivery expectations
Oversee IT service management across the organization, ensuring alignment with best practices and frameworks such as ITIL
Actively drive continuous improvement of service delivery, support processes, and end-user experience
Maintain an up-to-date view of the enterprise project portfolio, working with department leads to align roadmaps, manage interdependencies, and ensure strategic priorities are met
Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft 365 services, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability
Oversee and participate as the highest-level system Administrator in all technology platforms (Microsoft Azure, EMR, etc.)
Set up and maintain resources in Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components
Work closely with clinical, administrative, and compliance teams to align technology initiatives with organizational goals
Troubleshoot complex technical problems related to Microsoft technologies and other business systems
Assist in the administration of other business platforms such as ERP, Payroll, and EMR systems, ensuring their smooth operation and integration with other systems
Review and manage IT vendor costs and approve monthly invoices
Embrace the 'other duties as assigned' mentality to support the diverse needs of a small company environment
Assist in developing or revising policies and procedures as requested
Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures for reference and knowledge sharing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities, tasks, and environments
Proven experience in administering Microsoft 365, Microsoft Defender, InTune, and Azure
Familiarity with Microsoft Power platforms (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI) and their application in workflow solutions
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Preferred
Knowledge of ERP, Payroll, and EMR systems administration is a plus
At least one Microsoft certification in both Azure administration and Microsoft Security administration is preferred (i.e. AZ-104 or AZ-900; SC-200 or SC-400)
